Over 40 Years of Real Estate Expertise

Founded over 35 years ago, by Celia W. Dunn and her husband J. Laurence Dunn, Celia Dunn Sotheby’s International Realty has cultivated two outstanding real estate offices serving the Lowcountry areas of Savannah, Bluffton and Hilton Head Island. Built on the philosophy of community involvement, passion and integrity, we love to acquaint newcomers and natives alike with the best the area has to offer regardless of your price point.

  • Sotheby's Auction House Founded

    SOTHEBY'S AUCTION HOUSE FOUNDED

    Since the founding of the Sotheby's Auction House in 1744 as an auction bookseller, the Sotheby's name has earned renown as a marketer of the world's most valuable and fine possessions. This reputation is built as much on exceptional service to clients as it is on the notable art, antiques, jewelry and other holdings that pass through Sotheby's offices around the world. It was out of this rich heritage that the Sotheby's International Realty® brand was born.

  • Sotheby’S International Realty Established

    SOTHEBY’S INTERNATIONAL REALTY ESTABLISHED

    Established in 1969, Amelia Bullock founded Amelia Bullock Realtors in her home, growing the company from three friends working together to more than 80 agents 45 years later. In 1970, Barbara Wallace joined forces with Bullock and they formed Amelia Bullock Realtors, Inc. The brand quickly became known in Austin as a preeminent residential real estate company. Bullock set a goal to create a different kind of real estate company that held the values of fairness, integrity and dependability in the highest regard. By 1976, their staff had doubled, and they opened the first official office in Northwest Hills.

  • Celia W. Dunn Realty Founded

    CELIA W. DUNN REALTY FOUNDED

    Established in January 1981, Celia W. Dunn founded Celia W. Dunn Realty Company in her home at 9 W. Charlton Street in the Historic Landmark District of Savannah, Georgia. Currently, the office now spans across three building at 9, 13 and 17 West Charlton Street. Celia was the principal broker and only salesperson. Late fall of 1981, the company established an association with Sotheby’s International Realty.

  • J. Laurence Dunn Joins Celia W. Dunn Realty

    J. LAURENCE DUNN JOINS CELIA W. DUNN REALTY

    In 1982 Celia W. Dunn’s husband, J. Laurence Dunn joined her full time as an Associate Broker and Broker of the Property Management Division. Together, they grew and cultivated two offices of outstanding real estate professionals with over 50 agents over a 35 year span. Built on the philosophy of integrity, community involvement and a passion for Savannah and the Lowcountry of South Carolina and Georgia.

  • Celia W. Dunn Realty Expands To Bluffton, Sc

    CELIA W. DUNN REALTY EXPANDS TO BLUFFTON, SC

    In 2004 Celia W. Dunn opened the real estate office in Bluffton, South Carolina. The office located in Historic Downtown Bluffton services Bluffton, Hilton Head Island and the outlying Lowcountry of South Carolina.

  • Celia W. Dunn Realty Becomes A Sotheby’S International Realty Affiliate

    CELIA W. DUNN REALTY BECOMES A SOTHEBY’S INTERNATIONAL REALTY AFFILIATE

    In 2006 the company affiliated with Sotheby’s International Realty as a franchise. The move strengthened Celia W. Dunn Realty’s position by combining their local success with the international marketing and referral power of Sotheby's International Realty brand.

    CELIA W. DUNN INDUCTED INTO BUSINESS HALL OF FAME

    Celia W. Dunn is inducted into the Junior Achievement Savannah Business Hall of Fame.
